Your postal code shouldn't determine your quality of life. Canada needs a national strategy that centres rural voices in social and economic policy. The NFU has long advocated for strong rural policy as it is essential for food systems and farmer livelihoods.

I'm a bit late to the posting party but I'm very very excited to announce that I successfully defended my PhD dissertation earlier this fall, and that I'm officially the first graduate of the PhD in Environmental Sustainability program at the Institute of the Environment at the University of Ottawa.
