Here’s an actual photo of the interior of The Sphere.
Interior of The Sphere, Las Vegas. Stage is at lower left, obscured by brilliant lights. We are looking horizontally across the audience seating area, which slopes steeply upward to the right. The ceiling is apparently composed of masonry tiles, in the lower sections, with coffered panels higher up toward the apex. The very top appears open to the evening sky, like the oculus of the Roman Pantheon. However, this is all a digital image. The entire interior of The Sphere is a digital display. The image shown on it gives the appearance of being inside the Pantheon in Rome.

A long sausage-like piece of some kind of meat, spiraled around in a plastic tray and wrapped in plastic film. A label reads “beef bull penis — Ngau bim”; 2.12 pounds, $11.99 per pound, total $25.42. Dai Thanh supermarket, San Jose California.

Japanese style curry for dinner tonight. Nothing really special, just chicken and vegetables and a boxed curry mix. Comfort food at a time when comforting is necessary.
Chicken and vegetables in a curry sauce, over rice in a medium sized noodle bowl, garnished with chopped green onions and red fukujinzuke — sweet and tart pickled daikon radish.
