Definitely a real person who was not retroactively created by a wish-granting engine. Star Trek, Battletech, general sci-fi, and TTRPG nerd. Jackal lurker.
And here is the Clan star. I also did the original Urbanmech with this scheme so the Annihilator would have someone to keep its slow ass company.

Here's some last #battletech pride month minis, mostly painted last year. I originally did the Wolf Dragoon star with this theme, but I liked the purple so I also split them up to be part of an IS company and a Clan star. Here's the Dragoons and IS set.

I'm not sure how I ended up with this many Wolverines, but there's enough for a wonky flag. #battletech #pridemechparade

A clan bi-nary I painted back in 2022. #battletech

Finally got around to finishing up this star of clan mechs, with a sunset- and Solar exalt-inspired theme. The Nova sticks out a little now but there is no way I'm stripping and repainting it. #battletech

And the rest of this #battletech star. Mostly happy with how they turned out, the Gargoyle is a little meh. Ice Ferret, Gargoyle, Incubus, Supernova, Vapor Eagle.

Some more minis finished this week. I wanted to try a more subdued scheme, so this is primarily a US military tan, a slightly dark sandy tan, and a dark grey, plus a few panels highlighted with light grey. Based on Goliath Scorpion Beta Galaxy. #battletech

And here is the original Wolverine IIC - I'm sorry, the original Conjurer, along with a group shot of the entire star. You can see I couldn't remember how I mixed the sea greenish color on the limbs but it still fits together.

Another set of #battletech minis I just finished. This is a green and teal theme with a bit of white, intended to match a Conjurer I did last year with an quasi-Infernal ocean green theme.

Just finished another #battletech mini. I'd had this Executioner in a gold and red pattern but wasn't happy with how it turned out. I repainted in a twilight theme based on a Nova I did a couple years ago. Orange body, red limbs, and a bit of purple at the edges and yellow around the top.

Here's the full company of #battletech minis I've been painting. It's not a canon color scheme... for Battletech. It's inspired by the brown and silver livery of House Vorkosigan. I thought it was also the Dendarii Free Mercenaries (fitting the merc set) but it turns out they just use boring grey.

I finally got my #battletech kickstarter set a couple weeks ago, with a lot of mechs I never heard of before. Some are cool, some... less so. These first four finish out the brown and silver company I've been working on.

Four more minis painted this week, continuing the brown and silver pattern. The Highlander's crushed Urbie was a bit tricky, but I gave a very basic red and black scheme with heavy use of some brown wash and black ink to make it look burnt.

Rounding out the star is the Aiden Pryde legendary Timberwolf, which I painted back in 2022. I used the same paint for the greens but it's lighter - maybe something about how I thinned it? Some yellows are more brassy as the scheme was inspired by the Infernal #exalted as well as the Jade Turkeys.

This weekend, I stripped a couple of #battletech minis I wasn't happy with ahead of (hopefully) finally receiving my kickstarter. The Linebacker I painted last year, the rest were redone to match it. Vaguely Jade Falcon-inspired for this star. Linebacker, Horned Owl, Hellbringer, Mad Dog.

Quickly now, you're being deployed into battle! Your favorite 'Mech is already starting up and being deployed by someone else; what is your secondary pick?

The Nova's a good Clan choice! IS, I'd go with the Black Knight. Reasonably good bracket fire and it just looks neat!

This weekend's painted #battletech minis. Gunslinger, Nightsky, Sagittaire, and Spartan. Warm brown on the top, sandy for the legs, with silver highlights.

Catching up on painting my #battletech minis, and experimenting a bit with the Urbanmech pack. I mixed some silver with other colors to get the base layers, all over a steel base coat, which turned out pretty nice except the pics have some glare. Seasonal-themed colors here.

The good old Thud is a pretty solid mech. The base model's a bit too ammo-ladden for my taste but it has a lot of fun variants that fix that. The one with extra SRMs is especially fun in smaller maps.

It's not as cool as some of y'all but I'll call six figures / first 10% a win.
