Important Announcement we need to take second here to talk about what Slut Coven’s mission statement and scope is: we’re a group of (largely anonymous) cis women, trans women, and non-binary people dedicated to the safety of women on bluesky. this includes on and off platform behavior. with this said, please be aware that our scope in this is men who are harassers and predators. while over time this may change, at the moment we feel it is important to keep our aim true and our target narrow. we understand there will be some hurt and disappointment about this, also understand that as an *extremely small* collective it is important that we remain limited in scope to ensure that we are doing the best work we can for those we can help. thank you so much for your support, 🔪🩸

the bluesky team has repeatedly proven they're not interested in looking out for us.

we keep us safe. not letting abuse and harassment gain flourish in the dark is a huge part of that.

thanks for bringing this up, this is actually a conscious choice to keep the trans members of @slutcoven.bsky.social safe. the only public faces (myself & miriam) are cis, but there are several trans women and nonbinary members of the collective. please continue voicing concerns 🖤🔪🩸

btw like. i understand why whisper networks and stuff exist. it's often not safe for women to come forward about creeps and harassers. but also that feels like one of the most common ways trans women are gatekept out of women's spaces. the ppl i see talking abt whisper networks are always cis.
