Leafcutter ants don't eat leaves directly - they use them to grow a nutritious fungus.

Empires of the Undergrowth is out now - but a rainforest and leafcutter revamp is very close.

Leafcutter ants collect leaves from their surroundings to grow a nutritious fungus. They may not be meat eaters - but those mandibles are powered by huge muscles and are capable of breaking human skin with ease.
