You don't understand. I learned more in 1 year on TikTok than I have in 13 years on IG. It was a goldmine of an algorithm, a lifeline for many in terms of community, and MANY creators' primary or supplementary income source. The ban is BS. They just don't like that big American tech doesn't own it.

(I do pay it but we have a large, outrageous balance left over from last winter when our new heat pump wasn't programmed correctly)
