Not really sure if "oblivious protagonist disease" is still rampant across manga published in Shonen, Shojo, Seinen, and/or Josei.
Reason: It's a term in context of oversaturation of dubbing characters "aromantic asexual by default" and as an antagonist equalizer preference brain...it's get stale.+
