It’s the year of our lord 2025. Theaters, why are we still casting d/HOH roles w/ fully hearing actors? If you can’t cast roles authentically because you are worried about the cost of accommodations, don’t program that production, OR, plan for the cost of those accommodations as you budget a season

There is a gentleman of a certain age next to me telling his friend how there are only two theaters in Boston, and “they do okay work.” With only 2 theaters it’s a wonder that a whole community of creatives have made careers here. 🫠 #theatre #BostonTheater

I didn’t watch this but am I to understand that an elderly Black man stood up to a fascist, was then escorted out, and most of the white people in the room sat there and did nothing?
