I originally wrote a title that reflected my thoughts on peace and protection of others but in the end… it felt more powerful to leave myself out of it. To let the viewer decide how it speaks to them.

The last chapter image for my book coming in the fall. I made this piece after a friend betrayed me. A classic adult moment but it felt like the last piece of my childhood self had died. It was sobering to say the least. I feel grateful towards them in a way.
