The hubris of Charlie Kirk is that he spent a significant portion of his career justifying the cruelty of these shootings as if he was somehow immune from them or could merely place the blame on other groups of people he deemed undesirable or uniquely violent but this affects us all

There’s this significant moment in the new Superman where he argues that a country doesn’t need to be perfect in order to justify that it shouldn’t be invaded and that’s what really signaled to me that we’re going to be referencing this film for years to come

At first during Superman I was like “this can’t be about Palestine” until it was revealed the invading country is a US ally receiving billions in weapons sales from Lex Luthor and the ending resembles the 2018 Gaza border protests

The wellness industry is significantly larger than pharmaceuticals and because influencers dominate so much discourse, people misguidedly believe other countries are healthier because of how they eat but it has more to do with walkability and greater access to preventative care

This might seem like common sense but it’s intentionally communicated like this to conceal the junk science intended to shift our focus away from fighting for universal healthcare and walkable communities, which will do far more for our health, than fear-mongering food
