One of my most joyful duties down here was a TriMet guy who said, ‘We’re having trouble. The frogs are getting in the way of the bus.’ So I went over and talked to the frogs about that, and they have very limited visibility, so they couldn’t see the bus, and they were very grateful to be told when the bus was coming.

I passed my dissertation proposal defense yesterday!!

I really appreciate the support & feedback of my committee. I've been extremely stressed all week, but when I started and saw them & my other supporters there, it was like... I trust that everyone here wants me to succeed 🥹💛 all shall be well

After Reuters reported the travel restriction policy earlier on Thursday, an HHS spokesperson said, "Effective April 10, official travel may resume following established approval processes within each Institute and Center." Asked about the policy reversal, one of the NIH scientists said, "I heard it, too. I'd like to see it written."
