every time a new commission batch is open, my commission gets pushed to the back of the queue (if it will ever be completed...)

I can only assume it's because there are no consequences for ditching non-vgen comms + my comm cost less than her current prices, but this isn't an excuse to do this

this whole experience with Eva has been very disappointing/disheartening, I went to her because I had seen the other FFXIV commissions she had done and she seemed very trustworthy, so I feel like I'm the one going insane/in the wrong when I see all the 5-star reviews on vgen

Eva’s to-do list was abandoned in September 2024, so I do not know if anyone else on that list is in the same boat as me

After our dm conversation on June 1st, Eva did not get back to me until July 4th promising that the work would be completed soon, but at this point I have yet to receive any kind of update while Eva is active on her socials and posts new work (the “today” dm is from September 6th)

While I didn’t want to, I figured if Eva won’t reply to my emails I need to try reaching out on her socials, her dms were closed, so I had to comment on a commission opening post to check her emails, which was deleted a few hours or a day after my comment, but Eva did dm me

Regarding Eva’s vgen, these screenshots show when she made her account and an idea of how many new pieces she finished based on the number of reviews

My commission was from May 2023, and her vgen was open in September 2023, she finished at least 100 other drawings other than mine during this time

(also I apologize if any of my emails did end up coming off as rude! I tried to be careful with my wording but you can tell I was frustrated)

Eva finally got back to me in March, but the changes I had previously requested were missing and she once again stopped responding to me

By January 2025, I felt like I was never going to receive the finished piece and based on all the vgen work Eva was more than capable of completing, I was also starting to feel like maybe she had no interest in completing the work I paid for so I even threw in a refund option if needed

Eva finally sent the coloured WIP in June 2024 so I felt optimistic about attempt two, but again, I did not receive a revised WIP and had to poke her for an update in December

The changes I requested, since we were starting over, I decided to just ask for the flowers to be changed to the bows since I had also asked Eva about this before

In May 2024, Eva had an issue with her computer and lost art files, I understood that this was out of her control and thought that we can just start over and the piece will finally be done in a timely manner

The new sketch was different from the original, so I asked for changes

Eva would provide timelines on when I would receive updates and fail to meet them:

After September 2023, I did not hear from Eva or contact her myself until February 2024

At this point you can see that communication was starting to go downhill

After July, I never heard back with the updated sketch, so in September I ended up asking if my character’s hair accessory could be changed, Eva did respond promptly, but I was still not given an update on the previous changes I asked for, so I wasn’t sure of the progress

Communication with Eva seemed okay at first, in July 2023 she posted a timelapse of my comm on twitter, I received no email with the sketch so I figured I’d reach out myself in case something got lost in the void and requested some changes to the sketch

I was extremely reluctant to post this as I have never seen anyone complain about Eva, so I was really surprised at how my experience was the opposite of her other clients

I have always tried to be patient/understanding with artists, but Eva’s way of handling things was less than ideal
