On this day in 1910, Louis Slotin was born in Winnipeg.
A physicist and chemist, he worked on the Manhattan Project. On May 21, 1946, an accident released a burst of hard radiation on him giving him what doctors called "a three dimensional sunburn".
He died nine days later.

There's only one way this ends, in tears...for the laid off workers and then the organisations that get sucked into the hype machine. Llama and Agents are great force multipliers but suck hard as replacements for actual people...

A truer statement never spoken. Like the Tories before them, Farage and co. have no shame, civil discourse and same washing is what they're counting on to advance. The only answer is speaking out against every falsehood, every lie and calling it as such!
Labour must finally stand up firmly against a Reform policy. Call it out for the obscenity it is. Starmer has recently finally spoken out against populism and division. What could be more populist and divisive than this? Nor for heaven's sake, don't dodge it, or excuse it. Challenge it.
