Politicians are inoculated to throngs of protesters on their doorstep but normie businesses are not and are much more likely to make minor changes to their strategy to stop a bad news cycle/get people off their lawn.

Haven’t the fascists already taken over? For the next two years the only democratic solution to the ongoing fascism seems to be guys like Chuck Grassley seeing Trump as a liability.
Also, it’s maddening because if Dems were in power they’d invent a reason why they couldn’t/shouldn’t do this.

It’s not about changing MAGA minds. Millions of us are in complete dismay, grieving the destruction of our country, desperate for leadership that meets the moment, and one of our most popular/unifying figures, a former president, just wants to talk about the good old days and watch March Madness.
