I used to think it was me who'd somehow sold out or given in on some almighty cause, but what difference would it make? It feels good to be out here.

Your cardiologist is keen on as many arrests as possible?

Actually, that's not right.

Elon doesn't care about people being represented. He thinks he's got Trump / the US as close as they're going to be to where he wants them. The left leaning EU - they won't change - so easier to push individual countries around.

Yep, that's exactly my point.

For a high IQ individual, Elon is clueless about a lot of big things.

Special K isn't really that special.

The USA should be abolished and sovereignty returned to the individual states, so governments can better represent their people.

Elon seems to have misplaced his free speech absolutism.

Money. You forgot money.
September 13, 2025 at 6:37 PM
How can you persuade everyone to do that?

Reform voters may be very closely aligned with the population in general, but Reform policy is very much not in line with public opinion. And I don't understand how farage can hold such unpopular opinions and also be so popular.

I'm sure I remember him saying that he was completely skint when he was asked if he'd be refusing his EU pension. Quite a turn around.

I was by no means an early adopter of bluesky, but the pattern is clear. Just as all systems tend towards entropy, all social media tends towards cesspool.

Based on the available evidence, I'd have to conclude that you're not too far wrong. We're fucking idiots.

What could possibly go wrong? AI owned and programmed by the tech bros is clearly the best way to run our society in our best interests.

One for the radio, maybe?

In-work benefits are subsidies for business. Nothing more, nothing less. If you can't afford to pay your employees enough so they don't claim benefits, you haven't got a viable business.

Take it from someone who plays music in front of people - a performance is in front of paying punters because it feels different.
