Hi Bluesky! I’m Sarah Finger (yep, just like on your hand!) and I’m a printmaker from Bellingham WA. I’m nearly 30 and I’ve somehow managed to make a living selling my art on the internet for the past 5 years. It’s wild and weird and kinda unsettling these days, but I love it and I’m lucky to do it!

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

This is how my days usually go as a self-employed, work-from-home artist:
8/9 am-1 pm: very focused, productive work
1-2:30: lunch that somehow always lasts an hour and half even if it’s leftovers
2:30-4:30: who the fuck knows
4:30-5: oh shit the day’s almost over I should get some work done
8/9 am-1 pm: very focused, productive work

I fall into the trap of only sharing *new* work on social media, since what’s the point of sharing something that isn’t available for purchase?? (Slight sarcasm)
