Am I just braindead or are they more or less saying that Viktor was subsumed/merged with the Hexcore to the point where they reached equilibrium? Rent is a commentary on how the AIDS/HIV epidemic was handled. The US, notely the US gov, treated any victims of the illnesses (especially LGBTQ) very badly. It was social death for people to know they had it. It was genuinely considered a moral failing and the punishment of God towards the LGBTQ. 😮‍💨
