look, I had a lot of friends on there. I don't know what to tell you. large swathes of it were bad obviously because it was the mob. but the thumb is on the scale now in a really hideous and obvious way that seems like the magical fever dream of an evil bandit king pigman

yeah, that's exactly what happened to me after the end of the first disc like 20 years ago and so that's how I'd have to play it now. and that sounds like a miserable experience, so I just never will. alas!

it's wild how FFIX would probably be one of my favorite games if there weren't easily-overlooked permanently missable collectibles/cards/abilities etc every five feet, making it utterly unplayable to me specifically

it rules that the show captures this unreliability and will even show parts of the same scene multiple times to show the discongruity of the varied accounts. shit rocks. I think it even works for the actress playing Claudia changing between seasons because louis sees her very differently after S1
