There are also three shots in the movie I love - Baez watching Dylan when he's performing "Masters of War" (and the fact it's performed from anger), Seeger seeing Dylan alone in his motel room after his last performance at Newport, and Dylan watching Seeger clean up the morning after.

I do wish Elle Fanning had more to work with (though she does a lot with a little) and the movie had delved more into the politics of the time. However, Timothee Chalamet, Monica Barbaro, and Edward Norton are all excellent whether they're acting or singing.

I know people who believe biopics in general, and music biopics in particular, are by definition bad, but for the most part, I really liked A COMPLETE UNKNOWN.
