Only 18.5% percent of city’s population represented with these neighborhood picks.

No northside representative east of North Grand.
No representation from Tower Grove-Shaw land.
No Forest Park-ers.
….🤷‍♂️

Housing would be preferred, but great. Hope a buyer comes along with a vision

For the 50 employees from Maryland Heights. Maybe if a developer built housing there, a shared parking strategy could be envisioned.

Nice! And still able to preserve the remaining storefront slots for other uses. Slam dunk for the city?

Thought this one would be a great gallery or studio space for artists in Grand Center. Darn

Washington keeps getting better. Would love to see a developer purchase the storage building, de-clad, and restore

As goes for all the SLU-owned bldgs painted blue.

I like the design. Actually came in a bit under the avg $300 a square foot. What a new house in Murica costs right now unfortunately.

Yes. Maybe they’re treating it like a concrete planter. A lot easier rebuild if & when these take a beating.

The BP at Olive and Compton is being demo’d. Not sure what’s planned.

Right now, the Bill requires 3 foot setbacks which would kill a lot of these projects in 20’ and 25’ wide lots. I emailed alders

It feels a bit like 2007. Especially with 3-4 tower proposals on the brink of construction. But what seems different, I hope, is that everyone at the table knows the risks and are cushioning for uncertainty.

A redesign would go a long way for these. The buildings aren’t easy on the eyes, and I’m sure interiors are dated. Maybe more to come now that they are market rate…

I lovee the facade on this one. Glazed/ non-glazed terra cotta panels could be used for residential application as well.

But I love the tower that we have. Part of the iconic tall 4 downtown.
