Overall, it was very cool & felt like the most packed MAGFest has ever been (barely could move in the marketplace) but I got to check out some cool panels, see friends, buy LOTS of stuff, play some great games, & just chill out.
Maybe not as exciting as before, but STILL a good time regardless :)

And finally, staying up quite late, I went to a panel learning about Hatsune Miku! From the songs, internet culture, & more (and yes we saw the Domino's commerical).

As I wandered around, I came across these guys out in the hallway challenging other random people to a match of crossfire. Everytime they'd start a match they would shout the commerical jingle and hype everyone up. Ngl, it was pretty cool and I wish it was an official event 😎

Then while waiting around for another panel to start, I checked out the nightmart kart arcade cabinet and, wow this was super detailed! From all the little buttons & levers, to the big steering wheel controller, it was super cool!
So glad this was my first time properly checking out nightmare kart

The first thing I did was go to a harvest moon panel, & it was wonderful! As someone who hasn't played any of the games, it fulfilled me on games to check out, funny oddball things and the overall history of the series. Super informative and funny!

Also checked out the Arcade Museum, and this space was pretty packed. Lots of cool computers and consoles on display to play and it's still cool to see even if I've been going for a few years (as well as some development kits which I'll upload under this post shortly)

I also got to check out @redvoxband.bsky.social for the 1st time, & it was a really good time. It brought a HUGE crowd which is why I was quite far away. I've always heard snippets from Vinny's streams but actually listening to the songs (live even) was awesome!

I took a lot of pictures of the VShojo + Hololive cosplay photoshoot (more than bluesky can allow lol). It was so much fun, but I'm a bit sad that there aren't a lot of vtuber cosplayers this time (or vtuber stuff in general), I wish there was more :(

Then I played Reflectile by @joeaquiare.site which is an arcade puzzle game based around fastpaced movement in tight spaces which was quite difficult! And it has some super clean and cute artwork as shown in the cutscenes, reminds me of something from the Nintendo DS era.

Firstly, shoutout to @holohammer.com who are creating MINDWAVE, a love letter to warioware full of all sorts of different bizzare minigames & artstyles. Would highly recommend backing them on Kickstarter right now & checking out the demo on steam (not sponsored but I did back them 👍)
