As TAI ticks monotonically forward, this happens to all past events in relation to now, and is thus prosaic rather than meaningful.

What should we do? File that "accursed piece of knowledge" alongside all other trivia.

Getting older has its complaints, but as they say, it beats the alternative.

Effectively, since I control my own email (SMTP/IMAP) server & domain, that's what I've been doing since 1990s: one email address per vendor so I know who's spamming me, compromised, or sold my address.

Later turned out to be important anti-phishing measure: wrong destination for source? Fraud.

Overarching problem: too many systems don't admit that we have multiple identities: bank customer, volunteer, employee, club member, etc.

They want just one, partly so they can collate & sell info, partly for simplicity, but as you've seen, it's a problem: we need to be able to filter/sort better.

Gmail has blocked my domain for the last month or so, which makes it difficult for me to email HOA board members who have their email accounts there. Partly my fault: other users of my server forwarded their mail to Gmail, and apparently I don't do a "good enough" job of blocking spam.
