I think a lot of laypeople turn to marx and treat it like a religion instead of a historical text and series of tools that we can learn from and leverage to push forward. to me that goes against the very principles of dialectics where things are always changing, coming into being, and dying away.

Last summer I was illegally fired in retaliation for union activity.
