I want to ask the opinion of the fine people here on Bluesky. If the SAVE act is passed do you think it will take out more Democratic women than Republican women or will it even out? I’m sick over the repression of rights and just trying to wrap my head around the effect on the 2026 elections.

Denver Public Schools filed a lawsuit to put a restraining order on ICE going into schools. My favorite thing, as an early childhood educator, was when superintendent, Dr. Alex Morrero said that they would not find the bad criminals sitting criss cross applesauce on a colorful rug. (paraphrased).

I have always been very interested in WWII and Holocaust history. I’ve probably watched almost every documentary there is. The Germans believed that Hitler was saving Germany and the victims were so terrorized that they didn’t resist. We are seeing this in our country now. Resist!!

Today I cancelled my Sam’s Club membership and Amazon Prime. I got some food for the local food bank. I donated to Act Blue. I’m not patting myself on the back, I talk a lot about what we should do and then feel paralyzed by the magnitude of the problem, today I did some things, you can too!

I am a preschool director, now we will do drills so we know what to do if ICE comes a knocking. The protection for sensitive areas has been rescinded. I had a meltdown at work today when state licensing sent us information on how to handle a visit to protect the little ones and help our families.
