I don't like working in non ISO formats

my guess is that most books solve this by being a thinner format that lets printing add a lot of gutter without needing to scale down? should I do the same? 😵

the problem with both of these solutions (they're the same, really, it just depends on if I provide multiple files or not) is that to add an inner gutter the whole page would be scaled down. Whereas if I could work with a pre-included margin my page can still be 100% tall (minus 10mm)

I suppose I could work with a standard 5mm margin all around and let the end user (me, later on) figure out how to print them side by side with a gap for binding.

A workaround for this is to also distribute multiple pre-generated binding-ready PDFs that I can quickly create in bulk with pdfjam.
