An awful lot of people disparaging this but there is precedent. I’m old enough to remember the Olympic peace prize in 1936, nice guy in charge won it.

Unfortunately I remember when these innocent England fans were banned from European matches for being Christian, now it’s the turn of the entirely peaceful Maccabi Tel Aviv fans because they’re Jewish. Sad.
