Went well. A few fuckups but an appreciative crowd. Had to improvise when the guitarist had an emergency call to deal with, and ended up singing Everybody Hurts. Which went down surprisingly well 🤣

Yeah... and they saw the psych wave coming and ditched their old sound, got themselves a name that deliberately rhymed with Neu! and proceeded to piss off most of the rest of the scene to the extent that none of the psych fests would book them.

I think the problem was there were several bands who really wowed me at ATG, I had had high hopes for DIIV but they didn't quite hit that high spot for me.

We used to have them when I was a bab. I actually had a proper one recently with actual fish fingers, not the goujons that most hipster places try to pass off as fish fingers.
