In the grand scheme of things, was there ever anyone wishing they’d laughed less or loved fewer hearts at the end of their days? Was there ever anyone wishing their burdens had been heavier? Never. No matter the circumstances of birth or station in society, regret was always something born from missed chances to move towards joy.

In case the lack of spotify wrapped has you worried about a music streaming switch, Tidal also does it. It's simpler, but has all the fun stats.

Mine are skewed. I've only been there since Nov and have yet to write something in the 24 Hours verse, which would give ESoM the bizarre supremacy it has.

Worked on this last night and it turned out kinda strange... so I just dropped some lyrics overtop and called it.

Looking back at other "we're just looking at each other here" type sketches and like. What has happened to the way I draw? What am I doing? Kind of an unfair comparison because one's blue, but still. Daichi still... mostly the same, but Suga has gone on a journey in my head, clearly.

Anytime I think about Blood Upon the Snow in any kinda way, I have the urge to do a timeskip where the kids are older. I always end up just doodling a crappy sketch about it.

I feel like Yuuki might be a little spoiled. Not a bad kid at all, but Suga probably overcorrects a lot and shelters him.

WIP Wednesday, fantasy #daisuga on a boat edition. One of them really doesn't care for the ocean.

I know you fear the sea.” “You don’t owe me-” “Doesn’t matter,” Daichi cut him off, “Now let’s go get you warm...” Suga’s grip on Daichi’s hand was surprisingly strong, and it remained an unrelenting vice as he guided the unsteady elf out of the stall and to the stairs that led back up to the deck. They stumbled in the dark as the ship rocked, but Daichi was nothing if not surefooted, and he’d made the journey once. He knew the way back, feet moving confidently forward in spite of the stormy ocean’s roll, mind already seeing them safe in his cabin where Suga could calm himself and Daichi could attempt to atone for his behavior. When they reached the top of the stairs, however, Suga pulled him back by the hand, stopping him before he could get the door open. “I’m scared to go out there,” Suga said, voice barely audible over the howling winds. Eyes wide and pleading, he looked up at Daichi from a step below. Terrified, his ears were flattened, pinned so tightly against his head that, were it not for the slight luminescence in his irises, Daichi wouldn’t have thought him an elf at all. “I don’t think I can,” Suga went on. “What if I fall? What if I’m tossed out to sea and it’s all darkness and no air?” Daichi didn’t miss the edge of panic in his voice. He’d heard it many times before - from both sides of the line. In his early days as a paladin, he’d heard it in his own voice when his nose was full of blood and smoke and there was death all around. But he’d had the Song then. The beauty and warmth that rose in his head and spread through his body, telling him he was right and he would have his victory. Even if he died, he would be victorious. Absolute confidence, absolute righteousness.
