Someone asked me about my banner photo. This is Santiago Peak in the Santiago Mountains just north of Big Bend National Park. It was a cold, late afternoon in early January when I took this photo. I was to the east of the peak, southbound on US-385.

Now that the youngest has marched his final show, I will actually have time to sit down and start working on my OBR army this Fall. I may go with something a bit different than the usual bone shades and my mind keeps going back to decayed metallics.

Not at home at the moment so can’t post photos of my current WIPs, so here is my favorite diorama I have made to date. This is “Smitty’s Diablo Sandwiches”. It’s 1/64th scale and made from a Cards Against Humanity box and some other scraps I found.
