Not having Internet for a day really makes you realize the importance of offline media, and it's a crying shame so many avenues of enjoyment have become tethered to online services where you might not have access to what you're paying for the moment you lose your connection

I fail to understand why people use social media as a means to self-indulge. Do people find it enthralling to listen to someone constantly gloat about themselves? Is socialization supposed to be making everything about yourself?

A lot of nice souvenirs from my trip to Madrid, many of which were gifts from when @aryll.tgirl.gay was in Japan; thank you so much Alva! Only problem is that now I have two copies of JP Mario Sunshine 😵💫
Also very happy with my purchase of a CIB SNES Mini, which I got for only €85!

Is it worth upgrading from a 2017 Switch to the OLED? Haven’t touched my Switch in a long while but I know the backlog is insane and I’d like to dig into some of that. I’ve always preferred docked mode but the improved battery life and screen quality seem enticing for handheld play.

I think I’m completely disinterested in mainstream gaming at this point because I could not care less about the Switch 2 reveal, not to mention that I have zero reason to pick up a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S lol

To my speedrunning followers, would anyone be interested if I were to pursue content creation surrounding technical aspects of SMB1/2J? Could take the form of a blog or periodic videos. Just feel like there’s a lot of interesting information that would otherwise be lost in Discord messages.

Honestly looking forward to using this site more, given the direction Twitter has been heading. The amount of toxicity coming from that site was certainly overwhelming and not something I want to have in my daily life. To anyone else jumping ship, welcome! o/
