I do think the earliest memory of something scaring me in a game and me loving the experience has to be Shalebridge Cradle in Thief Deadly Shadows.

From then on, I enjoyed and sought out titles like Obscure, The Suffering, Silent Hill 4, Cold Fear, Condemned or Dead Space.

I said "weirdly" because I definitely got scared by a lot of other media (I remember Bambi being my first time going to the movies but being so scared I wanted to walk out lol), even entirely innocuous ones. See this old comic about one of my earliest memories.

I weirdly can't think of any video games genuinely *scaring* me as a kid.

I do remember thinking the imagery in Captain Bible and the Dome of Darkness was creepy though, that might be the earliest example of that in video games that I can think of.

When I do end up playing AAA games instead of indie games, the photo mode often ends up being my favorite aspect of it, haha. I especially love taking out of bounds screenshots with glitchy vibes.

I also really enjoy dabbling in photography. These days, I mostly do #smartphonephotography on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. My focus tends to be nature or street photography, often with a tendency towards more abstract compositions. Concert photography will also pop up!

I like to draw and work with a variety of styles and subject matter, which includes both personal and commercial work.
An illustration created for an art contest hosted by MSI. It depicts a few central panels of human hands interacting with various ways of creating art - finger painting in caves, using sculpting tools, painting a canvas, taking a photograph, and finally, using an MSI laptop. It is surrounded by various human artwork: the Pech Merle cave paintings, Templo Mayor, Venus of Willendorf, Michaelangelo's David, the Mona Lisa, the Afghan Girl photograph, a photograph of Marilyn Monroe with her flying skirt, the Horse in Motion, the Pixar lamp, and Tetris blocks.
