It was excellent and left with much to think about. So glad I went with colleagues as we continued leadership discussions on the way back home. Thanks especially to Geoff Barton who is always so real

So sad that someone felt so alone/ unloved. I lost my aunt this way after someone she loved bullied and rejected her. Wish she had reached out. If this is an accident though, it is just as tragic. Thank goodness there are people with compassion like you

Just stick to what you know and know that this is best. My mate used to the ‘man in the arena’ on her wall. A bit dated but the meaning still applies

Dealing with the gap between those from different schools … it’s wide. Eg how to ensure we challenge all but leave no one behind on transition

As a teacher, this is brilliant. We love learning from our peers as we have limited energy in the term time. Smaller groups preferred as we can have dialogue.

Agree- it moved my thinking beyond tactics and strategy to really consider the purpose behind it all and how that impacts on leadership actions. Some of the theoretical parts were challenging!

I enjoy reading more measured and thoughtful posts here for sure. It’s kinder on the whole but network is not as powerful… yet

I get it. I have BPD and find being open and honest at the start helps. But this still is a burden on any partner 😳
