I think a lot of the boarders are more from international UHNW families these days. I married into a family that was exclusively publicly educated and for our generation, across cousins and siblings, I think only one person is sending their kids (partial) board at a public school.

Middle Middle may send kids to private school but not to a public school, I'd say.

Was so surprised that this was good, great recommendation.

Watched it with the 10 year old in summer and he loved it. I'd never seen it before and I agree it was shit.

Final option is to subscribe to Realms on his account and seeing if I can back it up that way but I'm so confused by how the Fire file system works I have low confidence in that. And it will cost me 8 quid for a month. What a sorry experience using computers is these days.

Amazon changed the way the file system works. The data just isn't visible: from a locally installed file manager; by connecting a pc and using file Explorer; by hosting an ftp server and connecting to that; and by trying to move the game to an SD card, something that amazon apparently supports.

That's a very relatable pickle in fairness. I hate that twat, Past Me.

I wouldn't be totally ruling it out either...

Dropping out of the top 6 doesn't look that likely from that though. Even with the irfus money grubbing schedule.

Thanks. Bought a house that had extensive extension work in the past and whose council tax band looks way too low. But it is in a conservation area and there is a clean planning trail.

Wait what.... I'm guessing that receiving planning permission is "informing the council"...?

The British public implicitly believe if that if you are renting with £1m in the stock market you are wealth and if you take that money and buy your flat for £1m you suddenly have zero wealth. That’s bizarre and funny!!!

Nope, not the same but we all know the conditions when they become similar enough. No indication yet if those conditions will arise or not.

Isn't the arbitrage bit the way that the risk has come back around onto banks' balance sheets via loans to the lending to non-banks?

They're right that the last chart doesn't change the overall point of the first, but not in the way they intended.

I miss the Ranked Begrudgery voting system.
