Trump and his cronies have the BBC in their sights. Leaders can’t stay silent while one of our great institutions is attacked.

We must defend its independence, end political appointments, and remove Robbie Gibb from the Board.

Does anyone in the UK know why as a reasonably healthy 65 year I get a flu jab from the NHS but have to pay privately for a COVID jab?

Laura, maybe if you get your head out of Farage’s arse other politicians wouldn’t be ignored.

Reform: Stop hiding from press scrutiny!
Nigel Farage says he welcomes freedom of speech, even if people find it offensive. Surely that should apply to freedom of the press too? So why have Reform's Nottinghamshire councillors - who control ...

This is really frightening for the us and the rest of the western democracies
This interview, which is also available to listen to as a podcast, provides a useful overview of some of the dangerous trends we’ve been seeing in recent months regarding federalization and militarization of state and local police functions.

Mike just ask the BBC if they’re the official mouthpiece for Reform, and they’ll let you know just as soon as Farage tells them what to say 😉
Is the BBC Reform UK's mouthpiece? Yup.

"Researchers at Cardiff University have produced a detailed analysis of every episode of the BBC’s flagship Question Time programme broadcast between September 2014 and July 2023 to see if the broadcaster was balancing political viewpoints."
Is the BBC now the official mouthpiece for Reform?

So an idea. Instead of fining water companies why not take that fine as shares back into public ownership. That way the consumers don't end up paying in the end like they do today and the cost for renationalising reduces for each failure. Win Win

Update: The House just passed the Republican voter suppression measure that threatens voting access for millions of Americans, including 69 million women whose married names don't match their birth certificates.

Make sure your senators know you expect them to stand against it.
Are you a woman who changed your name when you got married?

Congress is considering a bill that could make it much harder for you to vote.
