looks kinda awkward with the switch 2 adapter, and unlike the native switch ones, they don't connect to the system via the physical connection this way

hopefully they make ones for switch 2 soon

"...there is something deliberately humble about a game like this. It is that awesome PSX, N64, PS2 game that was unfettered by notions of a standardised action game template"

it's a news feed entry from Deadline :O

I've tried to make sense of it with commas, but it escapes sense-making anyway in the back half

when you click through to the article itself, the headline is pretty different, but like... also feels like having a stroke unless you're familiar with the show

sometimes the way headlines are formatted and phrased just turns them into a nonsense ouroboros

Donkey Kong Bananza. Free from the shackles of a legacy Mario 64 moveset, Nintendo made a game with more in common with character action games and imsims than the 3D platformers they popularised and dominated among for 40 years.

Some people will never jive with it for that reason, but I, well,

I dunno when this turned episodic under my nose

also this is a GREAT SIGN.

halo finite

maybe one of the biggest wastes of potential I've experienced in my life of playing games - the lack of single player content post launch to capitalise on the great fundamentals but extremely barebones framework is as if assassin's creed 1 never got a sequel

there are too many games coming out!! (he yelled arousedly)

maybe I'm naive and please tell me if I am, but it doesn't really make sense that saudi money in various entertainment industries is meant to turn us all straight--the fear that games will change their politics as a result is a little silly

the Trump admin is much more likely to have that effect

went to metacritic to see what their consensus was and noticed that the vindictive anti wokes aren't even happy now that they live in a fascist, left-punishing utopia

it's pretty incredible going from barely being able to walk forward without falling over to doing this kind of later game high-flying acrobatics within the same mechanics framework

video games and the human capacity for wrapping your head around things are both awesome

the difference between "everyone I don't like is hitler" and "everyone I don't like is a terrorist" is that who is and isn't a terrorist is something governments just decide

1. *complains about both demos*
2.
