It wouldn't in the short run, because:
(1) electrification, positive because replaces burning near 100% fossil
(2) ending energy poverty in the world
(Total rich world energy consumption should fall somewhat, even with AI hype.)

My older one learnt the lyrics to many HH songs and the younger one says her sibling 'coerced' her into learning them too. 10 yrs later, during uni holidays, an evening mealtime normally descends into singing the songs again. Darwin singing to Bowie and Richard III are normally my requests..
