Gods I am so tired of these stories. I don't know a woman without some form of one. The worse the disease, the longer it takes for a diagnosis. By then, women are lucky if the prognosis isn't drastically worse than if they had been listened to in the first place. Four years for me to get MS dx.
After gaining 40 pounds in one year and being tired all the time, doctors told her to “lose weight.”
It took three years, thousands of dollars, several doctors and two inches of her height for her to get the right diagnosis.
