This first page reminds me so much of the Colombian media (and I'm not talking about the tabloids). One can create a transnational collection of cover pages with the Communist boogeyman. But some folks in Twitter are planning to print T-shirts 😉

Excited to start this project with the great Mathias-Felipe de-Lima-Santos. We will map data initiatives carried out by data and investigative journalists in five countries as public data purges and data access to digital platforms become sadly common. #JERAAResearchAward2025 @jeraaaus.bsky.social

Great talk by @mariaressa.bsky.social at @melbconnect.bsky.social “Social media is worse than the ‘upside down’ world in Stranger things, horrible and slimy”. A woman of courage 🙌🏼

A great afternoon with the Argentinian writer and journalist Mariana Enriquez, invited to the #MelbourneWritersFestival. Enriquez found fiction and horror writing a useful way to talk about injustice and the violence of colonialism and the missing people in Argentina and Latin America.

Haven’t had the chance to share here the amazing Mexican guitarists, Rodrigo y Gabriela! After Jose González, this is one of the best concerts I’ve attended in Melbourne.

Sometimes I enjoy more Nick Cave’s writing than the music. I love the warm style and the camaraderie in his letters. 🙌🏾

The Embassy of Russia in Mexico "memefied" the Zelensky-Trump meeting. The tweet is gaining traction. "Mi primera chamba" (literal translation:"my first gig") is a common expression in memes used when people are unexperienced and screw in their first job.
