in the middle instead to break the flow of the game a bit but i have to assume it was made late in development and couldn't have been added earlier without rewriting everything., also cutscenes are sometimes a bit too long and dragged out but that's kinda whatever, the sceneries in them are pretty

BUT it is like 10h+ if u want to explore and find secrets and such, which wouldn't be an issue if areas didn't feel so repetitive at times :((, and there is one level which was executed so well and it was soooo interesting for a half life mod BUT IT WAS AT THE END!! it would fit so well somewhere-

i actually wish i could recommend g-string but this might be one of the few times that a game is justa bit too long... i it is really cool a lot of the areas are stunning and really stand out, art direction is also interesting and tries to step away a little from usually how hl2 looks
