Winnebago County gets a very brief mention in my book here (Fred Tsao shared about it) but I love knowing more of the background and hearing about your role. Gives me some hope for the fights ahead. Thank you for sharing!

I wrote a bit about Delaney Hall and the period of expansion under Obama in my book. It was part of their plan to make detention “civil” and just led to more people being detained and deported.
