Today, on Volodymyrska Hill in Kyiv.

There was something beautiful
and fragile in this scene.

The man,
the piano,
and their apple.

To live or to sleep?

The question people ask here
on nights like this.

Kyiv was under a massive drone attack.
Three people were killed,
a baby among them. 💔

I chose to sleep.
This time, I was lucky.

A robin made a nest in one of my plant pots right outside my studio. The baby birds are hatching today.

Morning from Kyiv!

I want to start this Saturday with
a song ‘’How cannot I love you, Kyiv of mine?’
A familiar to you gentleman plays it.
The video is from the last Sunday,
but it suits my mood perfectly.

Morning from Kyiv!
We had a pretty long air raid alert
at night,
but no consequences.
I already had a #warcoffee
and I'm going to write.
The first lecture on the history of Ukraine
later.

Maria Poliakova was born in 1981 in Kyiv.
I meet her art at different exhibitions.

I’m looking forward to seeing “A Complete Unknown,” especially if it’s made as a music biopic honoring an American icon who refuses to show up for the honor and if this review is correct in saying “the title of the movie is the movie.”

Opinion | Don’t think twice, Dylan fans. ‘A Complete Unknown’ is all right.
The impossibility of ever truly understanding Bob Dylan is the movie’s central tension.

It was a mirage, not a mandate.
“The details matter. As things stand, according to the latest tally from the Cook Political Report, Trump won 49.86% of the popular vote — a margin of 1.6% over Vice President Kamala Harris.“

This election proved to me that legacy media, network television, as well as print news, is over.

If Democrats don’t start fighting hard in this new asymmetrical info war, western democracy will be a thing of the past IMO.
