Trump administration just ordered permitting a giant oil tunnel through the Great Lakes in Michigan without environmental review to benefit a Canadian oil giant. A major Trump donor would build it.

The truth
The President of the United States is calling for banishing American citizens to foreign prisons. When the Supreme Court says no, he carries on anyway. This is it. This is the Constitutional crisis. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Constitutional Crisis Is Here
Trump’s administration is only pretending to comply with the Supreme Court on the matter of a Maryland man it deported erroneously.

In the smartest conversation I've read in weeks, Tom Friedman advises Gretchen Whitmer and other Democrats: "I would not be doing Trump lite."

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

…So let me get this straight:

New Jersey is represented by legendary badass CORY BOOKER.

While New York is stuck with Chuck “obey in advance” Schumer, and Pennsylvania has John “next Kyrsten Sinema” Fetterman.

As regional rivalries go, that has really gotta sting.

what booker is doing right now is an example of what i mean when i say things like “we need more ambition right now.” there is room in american politics right now for people with ambition to take big stands and reap the rewards. he’s doing it!

Corey Booker's (so far) 24-hour marathon slamming Trump should rally Democratic leaders from there slumber. Will it?

Right now actions by Trump and his allies have civil society and establishment Democrats on their heels. This is a critical time for action to save American democracy.

Just sayin’: Actuarially speaking, there is a decent chance that I will outlive Elon Musk.

I fully expect the annual celebration of his demise to become a national fucking holiday.

It’s gonna be LIT.
Musk: I mean, have you Tim Walz, who is a huge jerk, running on stage with the Tesla stock price.. What an evil thing to do. What a creep, what a jerk. Like who derives joy from that?

MI AG here 👋. I specifically oppose:
▪️Hiring contractors who lack proper security vetting;
▪️Giving them access to American’s most personal financial & health information, &
▪️Allowing them to download that data into unsecured servers that are likely to be hacked, for a start.
