I'm in the process of refurbing this Oberheim DX drum machine. Gonna sell it when I'm done but right now I can't decide if I should add a MIDI retrofit or not. Leaning toward not but if anyone who is more about hardware drum programming has an opinion either way, I'd love to hear it.

After having had to visit the Spotify offices and Spotify Studio with various artists it became clear where the money was going. The whole endeavor is a scam, artists are getting ripped off and used, and everyone at Spotify is a fucking parasite. If you use Spotify, you're an asshole.

I spent last Thanksgiving in the hospital because I thought I had a heart attack. Turns out it was a bronchial infection. I learned that nothing makes a doctor more happy than telling someone they didn't have a heart attack so if your shit is feeling weird go to the emergency room & make their day.

Hades is the game I have spent the most time playing in the past few years. I have recently started Hades 2 and, at first, I wasn't feeling it. It seemed like they just smooshed Hades 1 together with Diablo 2 & called it finished. A few hours in it still feels like that but now in a very good way.

Just witnessed a child custody exchange in the grocery store parking lot. Kid was maybe 10. He said "bye, mom. Bye Larry". The mom bit was sincere but the way he said Larry was lethally condescending and absolutely fucking hilarious. Larry gonna go home and kill himself after that.
