Remember to choose love over fear. Keep your vibrations high and stay in alignment. Don’t let them harvest your energy. WE create our reality. Don’t let them distract you. Listen to your intuition. And of course, stay safe. ✨

Remember to keep your eyes on the prize: the future world you want to build

Don’t drown thinking only of the things you are against

Remember to dream of and work to create what you’re for

Hi friends? Did you know that the word “mindfulness” originally meant “remembering”?

It’s a practice of remembering-

-To return to the present moment when the mind wanders off

-Why we practice in the first place.

Check out this article I wrote for @us.theconversation.com.

Cheers!
Mindfulness is about ‘remembering’ − a practice of coming back to the now
The point of mindfulness is not to be more productive at work or just to relax − it is inner transformation.

Winter solstice is a celebration. A feast. Lavish decorations. Abundance. Kin. Kinship.
In the middle of the dark.

A celebration that you are here. You are alive. You are experiencing the survival of life.

I recently moved to a small town and the experience of shopping is totally different. Every shop I went into, the staff were happy to chat, not just sell. They were knowledgeable. They emphasized local products. They were helpful!
