people are arguing writing in games is bad because there are games getting praised for good writing that don't have good writing; the writing of fallout new vegas (or good lord, disco elysium) easily whips any given new release sf/fantasy book you can pick up at B&N

i saved my work files!!! uncertain how to clone the drive to the new drive but at least i didn't lose anything too important. tbh i would abandon windows at this point but there's two things i need it for (graphicsgale & my capture card don't seem to have linux versions, and resolve doesn't work)

i think the reason i hate thanksgiving more than christmas is there isn't any nonconsumerist anti-narrative about it. like there's no thanksgiving without consumption. and we got two harvest holidays anyway so u can celebrate fall on halloween (which is also maximally consumerist)
