Oh ho ho! When we were kids, you thought that I was a bespectacled loser with my nose buried in a book. But look at me now: a bespectacled loser posting about books on the Internet!

I'm a #writer and storyteller, so when something embarrassing happens, I try not to get discouraged and instead remember that now I have an interesting tale to tell.

In related news, I was just informed by a stranger that I had a long stream of toilet paper stuck to my pants (for hours). 🫣

#WritingCommunity Anyone else ever have dreams about the writing process? I dreamed I got a few more chapters written and took the story in a completely different direction (one that made no sense 🙃)

Overheard in the library, from the three teenage boys who've been intensely discussing how one of them should reply to the girl he likes for the last 40-ish minutes:

"Yeah, girls like bad boys! Leave out the comma!"

I'm always "in the middle of" a book, whether it's one I pick out myself or one chosen by my treasured book club friends. 🫶 Here's just some of the ones I've read recently. Always looking to add to my already overflowing TBR pile. 🙃
