After waiting years he was removed from the waiting list without his parent's knowledge. He was classified as a palliative patient who couldn't benefit from sugery, but that's contradicted by Great Ormond St Hospital in London. We only know of this because a whistleblower made a protected disclosure

Great to see Scotland and Wales blazing a trail when it comes to rewilding. 80% of Scots want their government to support rewilding, I'd say the figure is similar in Ireland but, remarkably, there is no official backing for the idea.

Scotland and Wales are both on successful rewilding missions that show a pathway for the rest of Europe.

Cunty sold his shares in the toddler killing machine a year and a half after the invasion. It was international news that a Norwegian investor dropped this company because they were afraid that they’d be legally complicit in genocide. No excuses. Dirty shit all round
There we have it… Eoin Hayes received €199,000 pre-tax when he divested his shares in Palantir in JULY of this year.

This is despite telling journalists earlier he did so before entering politics.

Soc Dems now reviewing the issue.

Nobody ever planted a tree in this photo. It was a working gravel pit 30 years ago.

We need to get over our obsession with planting trees and let nature do the job. The results are just SO much better.

It's also about realising we are not, in fact, central to everything. 🌍

And I'm sorry, but with so many now claiming the Greens "punched above their weight in government", it has to be said:

One Green minister drafted a forestry plan that was mostly about ramping up sitka, while another Green minister insisted sheep graze a national park.
One image goes a long way to explaining why Ireland is among the most nature-wrecked places on Earth: sheep + sitka.

Ciara makes great art and that great art makes great gifts
Tough year for art sales and I depend solely on it for a living, so if you like anything I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for friends or family. If you hate what I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for enemies or nemeses.
📌 Lil' note: ciaraioch.com is now taking Christmas orders for prints, gift cards and value bundles - each archival-quality print on textured heavy paper is made in Ireland, shipped in eco-friendly packaging with discount tracked postage available, and comes with free mini-treats for every customer 🎁

The idea that FFG need to give concessions to Labour or the Soc Dems is a nothing but pie in the sky wishcasting.
The last time the Greens negotiated hard they got a PfG that was full of vague commitments around social justice commitments that ultimately meant their demise.
