I am so thrilled to share our new publication. We found that carboxysome losses integrity in response to ROS and PQ pool overreduction. RpaA seems to have an important role in controlling the organization of carboxysomes. For more details, here is the link:

I have isolated a microalgae species but I haven't been able to identify it yet. I'd appreciate any help from those with experience in algal taxonomy. Based on the morphology seen under the microscope, does anyone have an idea of what genus or species this might be?
