Liker of books, dogs, and random useless facts you could have easily gotten from Wikipedia. Disliker of Musk and all things MAGA.
They just voted to devalue all their shares to double his. I don’t see him getting removed any time soon. But again if it’s truly a nose dive perhaps.

The issue isn’t solvency. Tesla isn’t in 2008 trouble. The the P/E ratio makes no fucking sense. If it corrected down to a reasonable ratio for literally any other automaker it would reduce Elon from Bezos level to “just another rich guy” level.

All his other ventures are underpinned byTesla

It is ludicrously over valued for what it
Is. Everyone acknowledges it. If this keeps going the shorts are gonna start to circle.

Grew up seeing the south as a political monolith. Now VA and NC and purple. While SC hasn’t moved an inch.

If he has to sell off significant control of Tesla or take SpaceX public to make his Twitter creditors whole it might start the dominos falling. Which would be bad for the major share holders. Still glad he got kicked in the teeth.

He’s right back down at the bottom of the hole he dug with his Twitter debacle. Either give up significant control of Tesla to make his creditors whole or liquidate considerable other holdings. Twitter itself is never paying off the buyout.

This would have been an unthinkable abuse of power a couple decades ago. There is no greater good being accomplished. It is a bad act. Pointing out the Road Warrior situation circling the walls doesn’t detract from that fact.

Sigh, it’s still bad when the better guy does bad things.

That doesn’t mean he can magically cut decades off the appeals process for most of the 40 who remain.

Not all men is self evident. I am saying that British men have violent impulses at rough the same rate as American ones yet American women die at almost 10x the rate yet are only 5x as populous. If you are wedded to your soap box have at it. But you are ignoring the obvious multiplier of harm.
December 1, 2024 at 9:45 PM
I am talking about the women. The UK has a larger % of women murdered. Difference is the total murder was 590 compared to 17,713 in 2023. Despite the U.S. being only 5 times more populous. The guns are the issue.
December 1, 2024 at 8:58 PM
Most people who are murdered are killed by family or a close associate. Parsing this out to just focus on the minority who are women paints a distorted picture when ~75% of murder victims are male. This is a gun issue not a gender issue. This can be fixed by legislative action. Not hand wringing.
