If a site had a policy “it’s not a violation of T&S if you’re quoting something”, hoo boy would that be easy to abuse. Not hard to make a real threat out of song lyrics.

I think they’re also sincerely outraged by rape, because they view it as particularly emasculating theft—the Other comes here and shows me I’m powerless by taking my woman.
A white man raping a woman doesn’t register the same way. Least of all if it’s a woman he can regard as his own property.

I remember watching British TV and there was a reference to the “firearms unit” and at first I thought they meant “the cops who investigate gun crimes” and then I realized they meant “the special unit of cops who *have guns* and are only called out if we think guns are needed”
